For nearly two decades, Stefanie has been tending her East Boulder County garden like a living canvas. What was once a large swath of thirsty lawn is now a thriving landscape of xeric flowers, resilient shrubs and more than fifty native and drought-tolerant trees.  

Texture and color play starring roles with over a dozen varieties of ornamental grasses taking center stage each autumn. As a ceramic artist, Stefanie weaves her craft into the garden, tucking pieces of her artwork among the blooms and branches so that art and nature speak to one another in harmony.
