It's time for fall
in the gardens in Colorado
Our
BGC fall season sees us returning to the Left Hand Grange #9 in
Niwot for our meetings in
September, October and November, and to a member's house and gardens
for our early December Holiday Party. The details are, as usual, on
the Meetings and Programs page linked hereto.
It is also time to start
lining up programs for 2025. Do you have an Idea or a suggestion?
Contact President Sandy at
bouldergardenclub@gmail.com and she and our programs chair will
see if we can make it a date!
Our Programs and
Meetings Page has been updated for 2025. Reserve the dates Now!
We are still
rockin' from our 100th Anniversary celebrations last year!
Having had a
wonderful celebration of our 100th Anniversary and a productive
annual plant sale (both this last May), and with the conclusion of
our summer activities, we look forward to the our
2024 meetings under the leadership of BGC President, Sandy Edmondson
(in Leopard top).
Meetings
Our indoor meetings are
held at the Left Hand
Grange No. 9, in Niwot. These meetings are on the third Friday
of the month (except for December, which is on the 2nd Friday) and are
typically from 1 PM to 3 PM. We meet at the
Left Hand Grange No. 9 in February, March, April, May, October,
November, and December.
These meetings have speakers presenting on horticultural
topics.
In June, July,
August, and September, we hold outdoor meetings at members' gardens,
public gardens, or other places of horticultural interest.

Our Community Support
Please note that
the Boulder Garden Club is a club of individuals interested in
gardening. We can not provide advice or services or make
recommendation on businesses or services. Probably, your best and
perhaps first resource for guidance on plants, care, and conditions
should be the Boulder County Horticultural Agent at the Boulder
County Extension Office in Longmont.
BACKGROUND: The Boulder Garden Club
is the oldest garden club in Colorado. It was first founded
in 1923 to increase knowledge of gardening and to
stimulate and promote interest in home gardens, civic
projects, and beautification of the Boulder area. We celebrated our
centennial in 2023!
In 1930, the Boulder
Garden Club became a member of the
National Council of State Garden Clubs, Inc., Rocky Mountain Region,
and the Colorado Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc., Northern
District.

information about the club, please Email: bouldergardenclub@gmail.com.
